New Ideas in Satellite for Asia: A Special Industry Think Tank & Workshop
January 15
Location: South Pacific 3

Organized by Society of Satellite Professionals International (SSPI) and World Teleport Association (WTA)

In the mid-1990s, at an industry conference, one executive turned to another and said, "This Internet thing, do you think there’s anything to it?” It turned out that there was a LOT to it and society has benefited enormously, especially in Asia.
Sponsored by:

The Internet’s global impact on daily life in Asia and elsewhere has been profound. For the satellite industry, the rapid adoption of Internet Protocol as a standard created a revolution. Today, the question for this industry is "What are the new ideas?” With the world embracing broadband via satellite in so many ways innovation is required to move the industry forward.

This first-ever think tank organized by SSPI and WTA will be an open, free-wheeling discussion with new ideas brought to the table.
