Wavestream High Power Amplifier Selected by SIS LIVE for uPod Micro Satellite Broadcast Vehicle

Wavestream Corporation announced that SIS LIVE has selected Wavestream’s next generation Ku-band High Power Amplifier (HPA) for integration into its uPod Micro mobile satellite uplink terminal. Wavestream’s HPA is part of SIS LIVE’s uplink system delivered to ITN, news provider to ITV and Channel 4, the two largest free-to-air broadcasters in the United Kingdom.  The terminal has been supplied to enhance ITN’s capabilities to provide news from around the world and initially was used for the UK political party conference season.
