Crawford Communications, Inc. has acquired the assets of STARLINK, Inc., a satellite uplink truck company near Chattanooga, TN. The acquisition adds a C-band, Ku-band and C/Ku-band hybrid to its existing fleet, remaining the largest independent operation in the country.  This acquisition will not only expand Crawford’s coverage area, it will also bring the depth of a larger company to STARLINK’s customers.

Crawford now operates 14 Ku-band, two Ku/Production, one C/Ku-band hybrid and seven C-band satellite uplink trucks. The recent build-out of Crawford’s maintenance facility at its headquarters in Atlanta and the addition of STARLINK’s existing facility in Chattanooga have increased maintenance throughput and decreased downtime of its fleet, enhancing the quality, reliability and geographic reach of its services.
