25.01.2011 Bonn, Paris – MEDIA BROADCAST announced that the company appointed Bernd Kraus as new Chief Executive Officer, effective April 1, 2011. Mr Kraus follows Helmut Egenbauer who, as previously announced, was appointed Non Executive Vice Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the company and President Central Europe for MEDIA BROADCAST’s parent company TDF.

Prior to joining MEDIA BROADBernd Kraus new CEO of MEDIA BROADCASTCAST, Bernd Kraus (44) held several positions at T-Systems as member of the management committee ICT Operations. Before his time at Deutsche Telekom, Bernd Kraus worked for Siemens Business Services Germany as a general manager for the German Outsourcing Business unit. Until 2002 he was a partner at Management Consultants McKinsey & Co. Inc. Bernd Kraus will be reporting to Olivier Huart, CEO of the TDF Group.

Olivier Huart said: "We are pleased that Bernd Kraus has accepted the role of MEDIA BROADCAST’s CEO. He has a broad expertise in information and communication technology, especially ICT outsourcing, software architecture and IT services. The strengths of TDF and MEDIA BROADCAST offer substantial opportunities for further sustainable growth. With Bernd Kraus we found the right person to lead a company that is dedicated to delivering superior service to its clients in Germany. I am looking forward to working with him."

Mr. Egenbauer resumes his European role within TDF. Olivier Huart said: "We are proud that Helmut will bring his experience to the development and growth of our business in the Central Europe region and as member of the Group’s European management board. He has done an outstanding job and I would like to thank him for his exceptional contribution to MEDIA BROADCAST. Our German service-provider was successfully managed by Helmut during crucial stages of digitalization in alignment of the heterogeneous requirements for the upcoming years.”
